New Partnership between LimesVet and WIMBA

We continuously strive to offer personalized, effective, and safe solutions for veterinarians and pet owners.

Therefore, we consider it important to expand our range of services in a way that continues to meet our rigorous quality standards.

We are pleased to announce that LimesVet has entered into a new partnership with the Polish company WIMBA, opening new horizons not only for our company but, more importantly, for our clients.

This collaboration allows us to offer an even wider range of high-quality services in the future, supporting the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients.

Our Similarities: Innovative, Modern Technology in Veterinary Medicine

WIMBA is a Polish company with decades of experience in manufacturing orthotics and prosthetics for humans.

Building on this expertise, they now offer unique solutions for small and domestic animals.

Their devices are used for animal rehabilitation and mobility improvement, particularly in cases of orthopedic issues and post-surgery recovery.

Similar to LimesVet, WIMBA employs 3D technology, which makes their products:

  • lightweight (resulting in less strain on the wearer);
  • more affordable;
  • faster to produce.

WIMBA's external orthoses are high-quality, ergonomic, and animal-friendly devices that enable our patients to regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.

These prosthetics are especially useful in cases where an animal has lost a limb due to an accident or illness, or when joint problems require non-surgical treatment.

Our Complementary Strengths: Comprehensive Assistance for Patients

LimesVet's surgical guides and prosthetics are designed to make surgeries on animals safer, more precise, and to ensure a complication-free and as swift as possible recovery.

This is where our partnership with WIMBA marks a significant advancement: this new collaboration allows us to complement our products, which are used during surgeries, with WIMBA's innovative external prosthetics and orthotics.

In many cases, post-surgery requires offloading or stabilizing the affected limb for full rehabilitation—now we can offer modern, customized solutions in this area as well.

Moreover, there are situations where surgery is not needed or possible due to the animal's condition. In such cases, WIMBA's products can now be relied upon.

You Can Always Count on the Expertise of LimesVet and Its Partners

The new partnership between LimesVet and WIMBA not only elevates the quality of our services to a new level but also enables us to provide effective and innovative solutions to even more animals.

Together, we offer products and technologies that ensure faster recovery, better quality of life, and greater mobility for pets.

Feel free to contact us, and let’s make the road to recovery easier together!

“Earlier it was simply unimaginable that physiotherapy can be started with so much prospect.” - interview with Luca Rostás

The innovations at LimesVet can only achieve their goal together with appropriate rehabilitation, so we closely cooperate with physiotherapy experts as well. Luca Rostás, small animal physiotherapist and the CEO of Ebfizio, has helped many of our patients recover. It is also characteristic of her field that many innovations are transferred from human medicine to the treatment of small animals. According to her, the main direction is a non-coercive, cooperative, personalized and holistic approach to physiotherapy, which considers and treats the body and the problem as a whole.

The process and opportunities of anatomical visualisation

Visualisation is actually as old as mankind. Even in prehistoric times people depicted animals in cave paintings, supposedly, to project a successful hunting. This form of art evolved approximately 30 thousand years before writing, so it can also explain why numerous people say that they are visual.
