Dr. Kalman Czeibert, DVM, PHD

After graduation, he first worked as a clinical veterinarian at Profivet small animal clinic (where, in addition to general patient care, he began to specialize in neurological cases). Then, in 2012 he was invited to the Department of Anatomy and Histology at the University of Veterinary Medicine to teach veterinary anatomy and embryology for first- and second-year students (in Hungarian and English). In 2016 he joined the international research team at the Department of Ethology of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) which studied the cognitive aging of dogs using various behavioural, genetic and neuroscientific methods. Here, among other things, he actively participated in the analysis of fMRI scans, brain imaging and the work of the Canine Brain and Tissue Bank. He regularly gives presentations at conferences in Hungary and abroad, primarily about anatomical and 3D visualisation. His PhD thesis discusses the multimodal anatomy of the dog’s brain together with its 3D modelling possibilities. He defended his dissertation in 2020. He became involved in the activity of Limes Model Ltd. in 2021 in connection with a veterinary tender. Currently, he works at LimesVet Ltd. as a research and development manager. His main tasks involve the creation of 3D models based on various diagnostic imaging techniques (such as CT and MRI), 3D printing and the planning and production of custom design veterinarian devices (e.g. implants and drilling guides).
