Dr. Antal Seregi, DVM
After receiving his diploma in December 1991, he took a full-time position at the Department of Pathology at the University of Veterinary Medicine and studied the mysteries of pathology for half a year. His main focus was on his second job, his small animal veterinary practice at the Animal Hospital in Budatétény, where he continued his career as a full-time vet from 1992. He was the leading vet at Murmuczok Veterinary Centre between May 1996 and January 1999. Alongside Péter Egerszegi, he has been one of the owners of the FeliCaVet Veterinary Clinic since February 1999, and the owner and veterinary surgeon of the FuzioVet Veterinary Hospital since 2021. In 2003 he was admitted to the Hungarian Small Animal Orthopaedic Association, of which he was an active member until 2021. In January 2010 he had the honour of being elected president of the Association by his colleagues, a position he held for 6 years. In 2007 he obtained a second degree as a small animal specialist at the postgraduate training of the University of Veterinary Medicine. He is an active participant of numerous continuing education programmes abroad, mainly in the fields of orthopaedics and neurology (AOVET, ESVOT and BSAVA). Since 2006 he has been a regular and sought-after speaker at continuing educations organised by the Hungarian Veterinary Chamber, the Hungarian Small Animal Veterinary Association (HSAVA), the Veterinarian Chamber of Pest County and at online trainings gaining on popularity in recent times - continuing education by VetWebinar and online courses organised by the pharmaceutical factory Zoetis (formerly by Pfizer).
