As a part of 3D technology 3D planning is applicable when CT/MRI scans are not possible or justified. With the help of scanning, a digital model can be created which can be used for visualisation or, depending on the case, for manufacturing surgical aids. We have an Artec Leo handheld scanner, which is able to reproduce the scanned object with high detail and lifelike texture.
